Welcome
Complete Chess Foundation is a charity for Title I schools. With your help, we can reach our goal.
According to studies, Title I school areas are at a disadvantage when it comes to extra curricular activities for most students. Some benefits of chess affect the ability to learn in a positive way, connects you to others, and helps with developing problem solving skills.
Complete Chess Foundation provides a chess education and support to underprivileged schools and community members through donations, community drives, and fundraising. Complete chess Foundation provides funding for after-school chess programs to Title-1 schools. We understand that for many parents it is of utmost importance to find safe and enriching activities to engage their students during this time. It is exactly that need we are addressing at our school chess clubs. Chess clubs are also just a great, convenient way for students to get involved in the game of chess and make new friends. Learning and playing chess provides a host of benefits including improved memory, problem-solving skills, an enhanced ability to think ahead, and potential performance improvement in math and science. Our goal is to ensure that all of our students improve at chess, gain valuable life skills and, most importantly, have fun. Complete Chess Foundation holds quarterly Charity Tournaments in which the tournament fee is donated to a local nonprofit organization or the fee is waived in lieu of a physical donation i.e. canned food or a coat. Complete Chess Foundation will periodically hold events to raise funds for our programming. We also hold free scholastic chess tournaments at local schools to raise money for a free chess club on the south side . What We Do
