Growing chess and giving back in your community

Our Mission

Complete Chess Foundation’s mission is to provide a chess education and support to underprivileged schools and community members.
Chess education supports learning and self-mastery, which are building blocks for a more thoughtful, empathetic, critical-thinking member of society who is able to overcome challenges and loss.

What we do

Complete Chess Foundations provides a chess education and support to underprivileged schools and community members through donations, community drives, and fundraising.

After-school Programs

Complete chess Foundation provides funding for after-school chess programs to Title-1 schools. We understand that for many parents it is of utmost importance to find safe and enriching activities to engage their students during this time. It is exactly that need we are addressing at our school chess clubs. Chess clubs are also just a great, convenient way for students to get involved in the game of chess and make new friends.
Learning and playing chess provides a host of benefits including improved memory, problem-solving skills, an enhanced ability to think ahead, and potential performance improvement in math and science. Our goal is to ensure that all of our students improve at chess, gain valuable life skills and, most importantly, have fun.

Community outreach

Complete Chess Foundation holds quarterly Charity Tournaments in which the tournament fee is donated to a local nonprofit organization or the fee is waived in lieu of a physical donation i.e. canned food or a coat.

Fundraising

Complete Chess Foundation will periodically hold events to raise funds for our programming. Become a participant of King of the Green, our first annual Golf Tournament, held Tuesday 10/18/2022!

Come join us for our next fundraiser event

Complete Chess Foundation’s goal for 2022 is to raise funding to provide chess education to Title-1 schools for the 2023-2024 school year, particularly in the south side of San Antonio
